Designed for living inspired by the living.
The spaces we live in are shaped by the details we choose. From the texture of a cabinet door to the way light moves across a surface, considered material choices can transform everyday interiors into spaces that feel distinctly personal.
This spring, we are excited to unveil a collection of considered releases to the Dezignatek product range. Devonport and our paint-ready Wakatipu, two new profiles inspired by New Zealand landscapes, alongside Black Oak in the new Premium Matt finish.
Devonport brings movement through its wave-inspired detailing, taking cues from the NZ coastline creating depth through the interplay of light and shadow. Wakatipu, named after Lake Wakatipu in the South Island offers another expression of form with clean, flowing lines, while Black Oak introduces a darker, timber-inspired grain with an understated matt appearance, that almost looks three-dimensional as light dances across the surface showcasing the true texture of the decor.
The real opportunity lies in how these elements work together. By cross-pollinating profiles and colours, designers and joiners can create combinations that move beyond the standard. Pairing a sculptural profile with a deeper finish, both playing with light can emphasise its contours, while balancing darker cabinetry with lighter surfaces creates contrast without overwhelming a space.
Premium Matt on Black Oak adds another dimension to this approach, offering a softer, less reflective aesthetic that allows colour, grain and profile detailing to take centre stage. It is a finish that lends itself to contemporary interiors, where texture and materiality often speak louder than ornamentation.
